Brittany N. Martel, age 31, of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 13, 2021.
Born in Stoughton, MA on September 15, 1989, she was a loving daughter of Peter J. Martel and Rebecca D. Owens Martel of Norton.
Brittany spent her early childhood living in Brockton. Her family later moved to Norton and she was a graduate of the Bromley Brook School in Manchester, Vermont. She furthered her education, attending Fisher College in Boston.
A resident of Norton for most of her life, she was a member of the New England Chapel in Franklin. Brittany had been employed for five years, as a Business Development Manager, at the Bedrock Granite Company in Norton.
Brittany enjoyed spending time with family and friends alike. She was an accomplished dancer and when younger, had trained at Art in Motion Academy of Dance in Norton. Her specialty was Tap Dancing. Her skills allowed her to compete in several states in the U.S and at Worlds held in East Germany.
Brittany was also amazingly creative in drawing and painting. She loved spending summers on Lake Ossipee in New Hampshire and in the winter was an accomplished snowboarder as well. Her life was taken much too soon, and she leaves behind many saddened hearts of those who loved her dearly.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved son Peter Jacques Noel Martel of Norton. She was the dear sister of Adam Puccio and his wife Lisa of Middleton. She is also survived by her adoring nephew Philip, her nieces Brianna and Gianna, her aunts Andrea and Brenda, her Uncle Randy, as well as cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, at a place to be announced. Burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
