Nicholas J. Batista, age 28, a lifelong resident of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.
Born in Melbourne, Florida on April 1, 1992, he was a loving son of Michelle A. Batista and her companion William Souza of Norton and James W. Harris and his companion Michelle Crook of Attleboro.
Nick grew up and was educated in Norton. He was a hard and determined worker and was employed as a laborer for Universal Pipe and Paving.
His love for family was unconditional and the brightest star and best part of his life was his cherished daughter Aidrianna D. Batista. Nick’s second focal point in his life was music of which he enjoyed singing, rapping and writing and creating his own style of music. He had formerly enjoyed racing, with his family, at Seekonk Speedway and in more recent times, enjoyed discussing politics and current events.
In addition to his parents and daughter, he is survived by his dear brother Jamison Harris of Attleboro. He was the adored and much-loved grandson of Vasco and Sally Batista of Norton, Donald Harris of Florida and the late Etta Harris. He was the fiancé of Crystal Buck and is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services and burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
