Philip R, Dionisi
Philip R. Dionisi, 78 of Salem, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 following a lengthy illness. He was the devoted husband of the late Anne. C. (LaCombe) Dionisi with whom he shared 57 years of marriage and aided in her care through her final days.
Born in Boston and raised and educated in East Boston, he was the son of the late Philip J. and Josephine A. (Ragusa) Dionisi. He supported his wife and family by working many long hours at Walbar, Inc. for over 30 years before retiring. Following his retirement he drove a shuttle bus, part time, for the North Shore Medical Center. Phil was an avid New England sports fan and fitness enthusiast and will be greatly missed.
Mr. Dionisi is survived by his daughters; Maria A. Dahlgren and her husband Rodney of Salem, Theresa A. Dionisi of Haverhill, and his son Christopher Dionisi of Salem, his sister Diane Iacuzio and her husband Gennaro of Revere. He also leaves his granddaughter Adrianna M. Dahlgren of Salem as well as many nieces and nephews.
