Obituary

WORCESTER: Michael Calvin Lindstrom Hamblin, 23, of 10 North Woodford St., formerly of 41 Greenwood St., died at home on Saturday, March 4, 2006, after a struggle with leukemia.
He leaves his father Michael Kingman Hamblin with whom he lived; his mother, Judy Ann (Lindstrom) Hamblin and his stepmother, Kim Ann Robinson, both of East Longmeadow; two sisters, Melissa Rose Hamblin of Hudson, NH, Melinda Kate Hamblin of Worcester; his maternal grandmother, Helen Lindstrom Roscillo of Brooksville, FL; his paternal grandparents, William K. and Kathleen Hamblin of Worcester; his stepgrandmother, Shirley Robinson of Chicopee; his aunts and uncles, Shirley and Tom Cullen of Bristol, RI, Nancy and Hamid Bahadori of Lake Mary, FL, Beverly and Evans Drapos of Tallahassee, FL, Donna and Sue Redwing, both of Evergreen, Colorado, David and Sara Olsen of Portland Oregon, Linda Hamblin of CA, Kent and Crystal Hamblin of Laguna, CA, Thomas and Diane Crosbie of North Brookfield, Judy and Roger Johns of Pleasant View, Utah; his many cousins including, Jonathan Olson of Portland, Oregon, Janie Cullen of Daytona Beach, FL, Chanelle and Ciara Bahadori of Lake Mary, FL, Tammy Hamblin of California; and the love of his life, Nikkia Ashton of Manchester, NH.
He was born in Worcester and lived both here and in Brookfield. He was an honor student and attended Brookfield Elementary School, Vernon Hill Elementary School, Forest Grove Junior High and Doherty Memorial High School.
Michael worked as screenprinter at The Top Half in Dracut and previously worked at Rocky's Ace Hardware in South Hadley. He was a gifted artist, loved music and enjoyed mixing his own soundtracks.
CALLING HOURS will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. followed by a FUNERAL SERVICE at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation will follow at Rural Crematory.
