Dorothy Pilkinton, 90, of Dallas passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Delmar Gardens of Smyrna.
Dorothy was born on July 14, 1930 in Turner County to the late Morris B., Sr. and Tiny Elizabeth Wilson Pilkinton. She was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church in College Park. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Bogumill of Dallas; son, Johnnie M. (Arlene) Nipper of Rebecca; sister, Gloria Jean (Billy Ray) Cameron of Sycamore; brothers, Buford (Cindy) Pilkinton of Seneca, South Carolina and Terry (Kathy) Pilkinton of Sycamore. Three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2020, graveside in the Bethel Cemetery. For those who wish to sign the family's guest register and pay their respects, Ms. Pilkinton will lie in state from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2020 at Perry Funeral Chapel. | ||||
