Dorothy B. (Bauer) Davis, age 101, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the Daggett-Crandall- Newcomb Home in Norton. She was the beloved wife of the late Carlton N. Davis.
Born in Somerville, MA on July 24, 1919, she was a loving daughter of the late Albert and Mabelle (Woodman) Bauer.
Dorothy grew up in Foxboro, was a 1937 graduate of Foxboro High School and attended secretarial school. She was a retired secretary, having worked for over twenty-five years at the Foxboro Co.
Mrs. Davis had made her home in Mansfield for most of her life and was a member of the Mansfield Congregational Church.
She is survived by her devoted daughter Lynne W. Stewart and her husband Kevin of Mansfield. She was the loving grandmother of Zack Stewart of Mansfield, Amanda Swartzlender of Florida and the great grandmother of Jake, Cameran and Dylann Swartzlender. She was pre-deceased by her sister Edith Cornish.
Services, along with burial at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield will be held privately at the convenience of her family and visiting hours have been omitted.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North main St., Mansfield.
