Wanda M. Laudato (Olszewski) of N. Attleboro, formerly of Canton and Westfield, passed away September 7th at the Ellis Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas P., Sr. and mother of Thomas P. Laudato, Jr. and his wife Annie of CA; the late Alphonse Laudato, and his wife, Patricia Laudato, of Holyoke; and Patricia Szczebak and her husband Rick, of Sharon. She was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Born and raised in Westfield, she attended Westfield High School. She worked various retail jobs and as credit union bookkeeper for Savage Arms in Westfield for many years before retiring. Wanda’s life revolved around her family. She was devoted to her husband of 72 years, her children, and especially to her 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. When she wasn’t babysitting or feeding them, she was crocheting beautiful items to keep them warm. She also enjoyed hiking miles each day with her husband and staying sharp by doing crossword puzzles for hours.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton, Saturday morning at 10:00 am. The burial will be private. Donations may be made in her memory to the Daughters of St. Paul, 50 St. Paul’s Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 or at www.daughterofstpaul.com. | |||||
