Anna (Krebs) Hubert, age 93, was called safely home on August 4, 2020. Anna was born on August 20. 1926 in Ramsthal, Germany to the late Eugen and Rosa Krebs. She was a long time employee of McDonald’s in Chicopee. She previously worked at Wienerwald in Germany where she met her husband of 62 years Arthur Hubert while he was stationed there in the Army. She was a parishioner of St Anne’s Church. She loved to bake and was known for her German chocolate chip cookies, and also for her homemade potato salad. She also liked to knit, garden and loved the company of family, especially her granddaughter Kristen. She never missed one of Kristen’s dance recitals. She loved to travel to her hometown in Germany to visit her family. When she could no longer travel, she would never miss a phone call from her sister and brother so they could talk. She leaves behind her loving husband Arthur, two sons Michael and Alan and his fiancé Lee and her granddaughter Kristen, all of Chicopee. She is also survived by her brother Arthur and her sister Theresa, of Ramsthal, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Heinrich and Manfred and three sisters, Monika, Pauline and her twin sister Maria. A service will be held on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at 2 pm at MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
