John (Butch) K. Bynan, age 82, passed away on May 19, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on March 21, 1938, a son of the late John B. and Ida (Viamari) Bynan. John Served in the US Navy from 1955-1959 with an Anti-submarine unit. He is survived by Irene Richards who he shared the last 20 years with and her children, Glen Richards (Kim),Lisa Learned, Gail Daviau (Raymond), Lynn Jones and their children .He also left many nieces, nephews, their families and many good friends who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his son Kevin Bynan and wife Dorothy (Sauter) Bynan, as well several siblings. He enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting with his nephews, as well as cookouts with his family .He was a member of the Amvets post #12 where he shared many good times with friends. There will be no services at this time.
He is to be interred at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, as his final resting place. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Donations can be made to the ST. JUDE CHILDERNS HOSPITIAL IN HIS MEMORY.
