Catherine “Catfish” Marie Windham, 60, of Sumner, GA passed away Tuesday in Tifton following an extended illness. Due to the State of Emergency we are now facing, Private graveside services will be held, in The Red Oak Church Cemetery in Worth County. A Celebration of her Life Memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.
The daughter of the late Leroy and Christine Grant Windham, she was born in Worth County, GA and was a homemaker. She loved to fish, loved Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. She also was an avid supporter of The Georgia Bulldogs and as a deciated fan she loved saying “Go Dawgs”. She also loved NASCAR. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her siblings, William Junior Windham, Katie Brooks and Ronnie Windham, Sr. Survivors include her son, Richard (Jeanna) Windham of Sumner; her sisters, Jewell Pate of Poulan and Margaret (Donald) Evers of Tyty. A brother Horace (Eloise) Windham of Arabi; a special friend Linda ST. John of Tifton. She also is survived by a large number of nieces and nephews. | ||||
