CHICOPEE ~ Fleurette J. “Flo” (Morin) Dunne, 87, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. She passed into Eternal Life at Holyoke Medical Center surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family and her wonderful caregivers. She was born at home on East Main Street in Chicopee, a beloved daughter of the late Valere and Eldora (St. Jean) Morin. She was raised in Chicopee and graduated from Precious Blood High School in Holyoke. As her late husband served in the military, she had lived in Washington, DC, San Antonio, TX and Del Rio, TX before returning to Chicopee in 1968. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved hosting picnics and holiday parties and caring for her children and grandchildren. During her leisure time, she enjoyed watching television shows, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and listening to music. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Theodore J. “T.J.” Dunne who was Called Home on December 29, 1976; her loving daughter, Donna Shane who was Called Home on July 25, 2018; and her dear sister, Doris Doherty. She leaves her three loving daughters, Ann M. Dunne and Debra S. Marier, both of Chicopee and Valerie J. Campos and her husband, Michael, of South Hadley; her nine cherished grandchildren, Sean Dunne and his wife, Amber, Kevin Dunne and his wife, Amy, Samantha Cox and her husband, Clint, Melissa Hollingshead, Marc Hollingshead and his companion, Christanne Coleman, Michael and Meaghan Blais, Jessica Campos and her companion, Theodore “Ted” Susen, and Justin Campos; her eight cherished great-grandchildren; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Dunne and Morin families. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 10 a.m. at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 9 a.m.). Her burial will follow the Service at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance of the funeral home are located in the rear at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
