James Patrick "Jimmy" Breese, 41, of Anderson, died January 28, 2020 at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson after a sudden illness.
He was born June 1, 1978 in Anderson, the son of Donald Jeffrey Modlin and Robin (Breese) Epperly.
He was a professional gambler who loved to play pool and watch horse racing.
He is survived by his mother, Robin (Kenneth) Epperly of Anderson; father, Donald Jeffrey Modlin; grandfather, Robert Breese; his daughter, Elizabeth Breese of Chesterfield; brother, Joshawa Epperly; two sisters, Amanda Modlin and Kimberly Humphrey all of Anderson; stepdad and best friend, Don Lott of Anderson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Wilma Breese; his paternal grandparents, Dorothy and William Dayton; sister, Andrea Beese; dad, George "Ed" Kugler and several other family members.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Monday February 3, 2020 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Richard Gregg officiating. Visitation will from 11 until the service on Monday.
