Norbert J. Landry, age 78, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chicopee on Jun 15, 1941 to the late Emilien and Yvonne (Pelletier) Landry. He was a lifelong resident of Chicopee and a graduate of Cathedral High School. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam and later worked as a Machine Operator at A.G. Spaulding. Norbert enjoyed playing tennis, walking and watching movies and sports. Norbert leaves two sons, Dennis Landry and his life partner Judith Tustin of West Suffield, CT and John Landry of Belchertown; his close companion of 11 years Carol Meade of Chicopee; two brothers, Roger and Philip Landry both of Chicopee; two sisters, Anita Nowak of Chicopee and Evelyn Coutu and her husband Paul of Chicopee; six grandchildren, Zachary, Erica, John, Joshua, Joseph and Rebecca and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald and Ronald. A Memorial Service will be held on Thurs, Jan 16, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with burial to follow at St Rose de Lima Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be on the morning of the service Thurs, Jan 16, 2020 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
