Marguerite Berry McLain, 89, died on Dec. 3, 2019 at Vero Health & Rehab of Hampden. She was born in Concord, NH. Marguerite’s varied work history began as a Surgical Technician in the Army Medical Corps while serving in the Woman’s Army Corps. She also worked as a social services secretary at Baystate Medical Center, and a receptionist at the Mary Lyons Nursing Home & Rehab Center. Defining Marguerite were her passion for gardening, her painting in oils, her devotion to family, and her unselfish giving of her time to all. She leaves behind her son Michael McLain and his wife Lucy, her daughter Colleen Speare, fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William E. McLain, her sons Charles and Scott McLain, and her daughter Dayna Grizwoc. A private service will be held at the discretion of the family.
