Mary "Kathy" Medeiros, 60, of Derry, NH, died Friday December 6, 2019 in her home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Providence, RI on May 13, 1959, and had been a resident of Derry for the past 40 years, formerly living in Barrington, RI. She was a daughter of the late John Grady who died July 23, 2019 and Julia (Sugrue) Grady who died January 1, 2019.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Medeiros of Derry; her daughter, Julie Medeiros Hubbard and her husband Andy of Kingston, NH; two grandchildren, Quinn and Dylan both of Kingston; two brothers, Thomas M. Grady of Barrington, RI, and John Grady, III of Bristol, RI; three sisters, Sharon Crausman of Warwick, RI, Maureen Nemati of Potomac, MD, and Peg Blume of Concord, NH; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, December 10th from 5 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 11th at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
