Jason Christopher Missell, 30, of Hooksett, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 4, 2019. He was born in Lawrence, MA on March 4, 1989, a son of Edward and Cheryl (Magoon) Missell. In his youth, Jason was a Boy Scout with Troop 405 in Derry. He was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, Class of 2005 and received an Associate’s Degree in accounting from Manchester Community College. He was employed as the Manager of the Meat department for Hannaford Grocery store in Hooksett. Jason enjoyed bowling, mountain biking and fishing with his family and friends. He was also an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his parents, Edward and Cheryl Missell of Manchester, a brother, Edward J. Missell and his wife Carin of Raymond, NH, one niece, Claire Missell; maternal grandparents, James and Carol Magoon of Wildwood, FL; paternal grandparents, Maureen and Bud Pirrello of E. Hartford, CT and the late Edward E. Missell; five aunts and uncles, Cynthia Clifford, Debbie Krawic and Sandra Soto, all of CT, Jim Magoon of Sandown, NH and Karen Magoon of Nashua; as well as his beloved cat. Clyde.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours were held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 3 – 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry.
