Marguerite J. (Plaud) Chiron, 87, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the former wife of Michel Chiron.
Margie was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Earnest J. and Jeanne B. (Bourbeau) Plaud and was a longtime resident of Dartmouth. She attended Pacific Union Congregational Church, Westport and enjoyed gardening. Margie loved gatherings on the porch and spending time with her family. She was an empathetic, loving woman who was a good listener and always accepting of others.
Survivors along with her former husband include her 2 sons: Rene J. Chiron of Fall River and Jean-Pierre Chiron and his wife Colleen of Westport; her daughter: Dora Chiron Font and her husband Jose of Sunrise, FL; a sister: Janet Margeson of Tucson, AZ; 5 grandchildren: Lindsey, Kelly, Benjamin, Maxwell and Ryan; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Lawrence Plaud and Alice Avery.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Potter Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. immediately followed by a service at 12:30 P.M.
