New Bedford – Amadeu Mestre, age 72, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at home. He was the beloved husband of Maria Manuela (Naia) Mestre. Amadeu was born in Lisbon, Portugal to the late Jacinto da Silva Mestre and Otilia (Agostinho) Mestre.
He is survived by his wife, Manuela; daughter, Iolanda Mestre-Gonzalez and her husband, Miguel Gonzalez III of Wilmington, MA and his granddaughter, Rachel Grace Gonzalez.
Amadeu’s visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 17th from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home with a service to take place at 8:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
