Luise A. (Paintner) Schoenberger, age 89,of Mansfield passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.
Born in Munich, Germany on November 5, 1929, she was a loving daughter of the late Anton and Therese Paintner.
Luise grew up and was educated in Germany. A resident of Mansfield for the past fifteen years, she had previously made her home in Brick, New Jersey.
Luise loved her times with her friends Mary, Ruth, Gisela, Helga, Maryland and Joan whom passed way too young.
She enjoyed her earlier years with the Schussboomer’s Ski Club of Fort Monmouth, NJ. Her favorite pastime was embroidering, cooking and watching Family Feud and the Cooking Channel.
Luise was fondly known as “Oma” by her grandchildren and her Mansfield friends.
She is survived by her son Gerhard Schoenberger, her daughter Ingrid Drucker & her husband Robert, Her granddaughters Kristen Cocca & husband Joe, Erica Zukus & husband Ed, Lindsey Kain & husband Gary. Her grandsons Cory Drucker and Perry Drucker. Great Grandmother to Kyle, Ella, Dylan, and Abby.
In accordance with Luise’s wishes, services and burial will be private and visiting hours have been omitted.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
