Robert O. Wilcox, Jr., 42 of Londonderry, NH died Saturday June 29, 2019 in Auburn, NH. Rob was born in Lowell, MA on December 14, 1976, a son of Robert O. Wilcox, Sr. and Deborah (Saber) Wilcox. He had resided in Lowell until relocating to Londonderry since at the age of 8. Rob was a 1995 graduate of Londonderry High School. He enjoyed racing and was a NASCAR National Short Track Champion. He enjoyed motorcycles, snowmobiles and cars. He also loved the outdoors, especially fishing with his stepson Konner. Rob was the owner of Wilcox Auto of Hooksett, NH, where he put his love of “anything with a motor” on full display.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon (Whittum) Wilcox of Hooksett, one daughter, Alyssa Wilcox of Londonderry, his father and mother, Robert “Bob” Wilcox, Sr. and Deborah Wilcox of Londonderry, a son, Tyler Wilcox Retkevicz, of Nashua, NH, three stepsons, Kristian, Kaleb and Konner Whitthum of Hooksett, two sisters, Beth and Kelley Wilcox, both of Londonderry, his aunt, Ethel Beauregard, a niece Brianna Wilcox, nephews, Anthony Wilcox and Milton Duran and his very special friends, Eric Carlson, John Burke and John Burnell, as well as many other friends and extended family.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Friday July 5, 2019 from 5 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
