Nancy (Bowmar) Franco of Canton, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2019. She was a life-long resident of Canton. She was the daughter of Henry and Marjorie (Fralick) Bowmar.
Nancy loved cooking, reading, knitting, crocheting, water aerobics, trips to Ogunquit, and all things Disney. Loving mother of Susan Hastings and her husband Steve of Bolton, Michael Franco of North Attleboro, Marianne Franco of Los Angeles, CA, Stephen Franco of Las Vegas, NV and Andy Franco and his wife Dalixa of Trumbull, CT. Loving grandmother "Grammy" to Sam and Adam Hastings of Boston, Julia and Kristina Franco of Trumbull, CT and Michael and Nicolas Poravas of Los Angeles, CA. Also survived by her best friend Phil Powers, her brother Robert Bowmar and his wife Adele, sisters Lana Garrity and her husband Jim, Elizabeth D'Attilio and her husband Ronnie, and Jane Onanian. She will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives she touched in such a positive way. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to be held Friday, May 3rd at 1pm at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Visiting hours prior to the service 10am-1pm.
