STANTON, Marguerite “Peg” (Connors) of Dedham, formerly of West Roxbury and Dorchester, January 24, 2019. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late of Edward “Jack” Stanton. Loving mother of Edward Stanton and his wife Melinda of Marshfield; William Stanton and his wife Gwen of Belmont; Patricia Stanton and her husband Steve of West Roxbury; Christine Tarantino and her husband Rob of Dedham; Brian Stanton and his wife Maureen of Brookline; Paul Stanton and his wife Liz of Dedham; Dianne Smith and her husband Brian of Sandwich. Predeceased by sisters Marie Connors, Doris Maguire, and brother Bill Connors. Survived by sisters-in-law Gertrude Stanton, Claire Stanton and Jackie Connors. Peggy was most especially proud of her 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Peggy was a proud member and Eucharistic Minister at St. John Chrysostom, avid reader, card player and game show enthusiast. She also loved her trips to the casino!

Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Chrysostom, 4750 Washington Street, West Roxbury at 11:30 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
