New Bedford – Barbara V. Britto, age 92, of New Bedford passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019. She was the wife of the late John Britto and the daughter of the late Alvin Dale Brown and Viola L. (Warren).
Barbara was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all her life. She was a homemaker to her loving family.
She is survived by her 2 Children: Barbara Ann Mello of South Dartmouth and James Britto of Westport; wife: Sandra Britto; 2 siblings:Grace Bizzaro and Virginia Gonsalves of New Bedford. She was also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Barbara’s visiting hours will be held Sunday, January 6th from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. with a service to begin at 6:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Her funeral will be Monday, January 7th at Perry Funeral Home at 9:30 with her burial to take place at 10:30 A.M. at Rural Cemetery.
