Laurier 'Larry' LeClerc

Our beloved Grampy passed on Christmas day nearly one years af ter suffering a severe stroke. Larry lead a remarkable life of hard work, family devotion and loyal friend to all. He served in the US Naval Reserve close to his roots at the Pickering Warf Substation. In Larry’s 41 year career with General Electric in Everett, as an aircraft sheet metal worker, he prided himself in never taking a sick day. Larry has enjoyed a fulfilling retirement since 1989.Larry enjoyed camping on Great East Lake, golfing, billiards, Bus tours to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, and hanging out at the pool at his apartment checking out the ladies.
Laurier ‘Larry’ LeClerc, husband of Rita (Gastonguay) LeClerc, his loving wife who passed away November 10th, 2010 and son of the late Joseph A. LeClerc, Sr. and Lida (Rouillard) LeClerc of Salem.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Jodi LeClerc and a brother, Joseph LeClerc, Jr. of Salem and Granddaughter , Casey Bedard of Peabody. He is survived by his children, Kathie and Robert Deschene of Danvers, Linda Lucy of Melrose, Laurier LeClerc, Jr. of Exeter, NH, Sheila Bedard of Groveland, Bonita Gawrys of Pelham, NH, Bill Walsh of Daytona Beach, FL, Daughter-in-law, Anne and Wayne Cortis. Grandchildren, Kelly and Rocky Hollinhead, Robert and Katelyn Deschene, Danielle and Adam Trau, David and Julie Hurley, Michael, Steven and Troy Deschene, Jennifer and Ryan Walsh, Melissa and Jason Dixey, Seith and Rachel Bedard, Great grandchildren Jace and Ava Hollinhead, Elin, Edwin and Eloise Trau, Dylan and Mari Deschene, Ryann and Hannah Bedard and Landon Dixey.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 8:45 AM to be followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Richard Church, 96 Forest St., Danvers at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be on Friday the 28th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
