Marie Ann R. (Dube) Tardy, age 72, comfortably passed away on Dec. 9, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 30, 1946 in Springfield, a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Lorraine (Proulx) Dube. Marie Ann worked for the Holyoke Visiting Nurses Association for several years. She was a former communicant of Assumption Parish and enjoyed calling Bingo at the McKinley House with all of her friends there. She loved everyone and brought cheer wherever she went. She is survived by her husband Walter C. Tardy Jr of Chicopee; daughter Cheryl Troupe and her husband Roger of Wareham; sons Jason Tardy and his wife Laura of Chicopee, and Mark Tardy of West Springfield; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son David J. LaValley who passed away on May 2, 2002 and by her brother Donald Dube who passed away in 1990. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
