Steven E. Vatter, age 61, passed away surrounded by his loving family at UMASS Memorial Medical Center on Nov 28, 2018. He was born in Rochester, NY on July 12, 1957 to Harold E. and Helena M. (Richardson) Vatter. Steven was a graduate of the University of Rochester and worked as a Relocation Specialist for Nationwide Moving and Storage. He is predeceased by his father Harold E. Vatter. Steven leaves his wife Angela (Collette) Vatter of Chicopee; one daughter, Margaret Vatter of Chicopee; his mother, Helena M. Vatter of Dunnellon, FL; two sisters, Sharon Vatter of Boynton Beach, FL and Hilary Clark and her husband Michael of Senoia, GA; brother-in-law Guy Collette of Chicopee and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Thurs, Dec 6, 2018 from 10 a.m. at Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Mass of Christian Liturgy at 11 a.m. at Holy Name Parish in the Assumption Church. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Wed, Dec 5, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
