New Bedford – Carole M. (Heroux) Cambra, 79, of New Bedford passed away October 24, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the widow of Arthur S. Cambra.
Mrs. Cambra was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Wilfred and Pearle H. (Bonneau) Heroux, and resided in the greater New Bedford area all of her life. She was employed as a clerk by F.W. Woolworth until her retirement.
Survivors include a daughter: Susan A. Martin of New Bedford; a son: Darin W. Cambra of New Bedford; 2 sisters: Sharon Costa and Jean Simmons, both of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. She was sister of the late Ruth Starns, Frank Heroux and Wilfred Heroux.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at the Hope Evangelical Community Church, 88 Hathaway Road, N. Dartmouth on Saturday, December 8, 2018, 2:00-3:30 P.M. followed immediately by a memorial service at 3:30 P.M.
