SULLIVAN, Donald P. of Winthrop, passed away on November 29, 2018. He was 79 years old. Beloved husband of the late Carolyn C. (Galante) Sullivan. Father of Ronald Sullivan and Jacquelyn George of Winthrop. Cherished son of the late Florence Joseph and Mary I. (Quinlan) Sullivan. Dear brother of Joseph Sullivan of Freedom, NH, Georgia LaFortune of Freedom, NH and Diane Leone of Winthrop. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A visiting hour will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St. Winthrop on Tuesday, December 4, from 9-10am. A Funeral Mass will follow in the church beginning at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter 347 Highland Ave. Salem, MA 01970. Donald served in the Massachusetts National Guard from 1958-1964.
