Janet R. Klatt, 55, of Ashburn passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her residence.
Janet was born in Macon on January 22, 1963 to Henry Elvin Carr and the late Frances Ellen Batchlor Carr. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Janet was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother. She always took care of anyone no matter if she has it or not. She is survived by her daughter, Carrie (Shannon) Cleghorn of Ashburn; sons, Chris Marvin Smith (Rachel Flanders) of Ashburn and Matthew Perez of Ashburn; sisters, Jackie (Buddy) Kirby of Cornelia and Angelia Burnett of Cordele. Janet is also survived by her grandchildren, Aalyia, Bug, Kylie, Reece, Brooke, Tiffany, Nick, Katelyn and Chloe. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death a sister, Teresa "Big Mama" Ware. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 3, 2018 at Christian Union Church Of God with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. | ||||
