Maria Ellen Aijala, 63, of Worcester died Saturday, November 17th. She leaves her sister, Anita Fitzgerald of Middletown, CT; a brother, Ronald M. Aijala and his wife, Tina of Worcester; a niece, Alena Fitzgerald-Borack and her husband, Joseph of East Haven, CT and a nephew, Phillip Fitzgerald of Uncasville, CT.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Walter and Sylvia (Rahnasto) Aijala. Maria attended the BAMSI day program and previously attended programs at Seven Hills. She grew up on Indian Lake and enjoyed going out to eat and the movies. Maria especially loved her family and life.
Funeral services are private. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester is directing arrangements.
