James K. “Jim” Mulrennan, 53, of Chester, NH died Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at his home. Jim was born in Manchester, NH on May 26, 1965, the son of the late James J. and Lillian (Ratay) Mulrennan. He was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH Class of 1983. He later attended Plymouth State University and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH. Jim had resided in Chester for the past 24 years, formerly living in Derry. Jim worked as an accountant and was the co-owner of Mulrennan, Rugg & Company, P.C. of Londonderry.
Jim was an active member within the Chester/Derry community. He has been a coach for both the girl’s and boy’s Youth Derry Lacrosse Association as well as the Wolverines Youth Football. He followed in his father’s footsteps as a Pinkerton Academy Trustee for nearly a decade. Jim loved venturing out to Saranac Lake for an annual September fishing trip with friends. He every Sunday morning chanted “ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!” as he turned the NFL network on for an all-day excursion.
He is survived by his children, Maggie Mulrennan, Molly Mulrennan, and Rocco Mulrennan all of Chester, his siblings, Brian Mulrennan of Manchester, Michael Mulrennan of Hudson, NH, Maureen Deluca of Derry, Bill Vesey of Candia, NH, Kevin Vesey of Hooksett, NH, and John Vesey of New Jersey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, services will be held privately by the family. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry is assisting the family.
