Fawzy S. Zadoyan, 73, of Worcester died Wednesday, November 14th in the Life Care Center of Auburn. He leaves his wife of 36 years, Anne M. (Hagar) Zadoyan; a son, Jason Zadoyan of Worcester; a daughter, Jennifer M. Zadoyan and Benjamin Battersby of Jefferson; five brothers, Farooq Zadoyan, Fuad Zadoyan, Nazar Zadoyan, Nabil Zadoyan all of Michigan and Ghazi Zadoyan of Iraq; and many nieces and nephews.
He was born in Mosul, Iraq the son of Sirop and Mary (Aziz) Zadoyan. Fawzy was an electronics engineer with Philips Medical Systems for 5 years, retiring in 2007. He previously worked for Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies. Mr. Zadoyan was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. He enjoyed cooking Middle Eastern food, going to the beach, discussing politics and working outdoors. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family.
His funeral is Tuesday, November 20th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 551 Pleasant Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, November 19th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
