LEICESTER: Chelsea M. Friel, 24, of Henshaw Street, died Thursday, October 25, 2018.
She leaves her father Edward M. Friel of Rochdale, her mother Dawn C. Reeks and her significant other, Bill Brousseau of Worcester, a brother Justin E. Friel of Rochdale, her grandfather Maurice Slaney of Spencer, her several aunts including Sherry Stumpo and her husband Paul of Spencer, Rhonda Sanchez and her husband Larry of Auburn, Cheryl Bullard of Auburn and Kathleen Abasciano of Shrewsbury, several cousins including; Tiana, Matthew, Michael and Tiffini. She was predeceased by paternal grandparents; Barbara and Ernie Dionne and Edward A. Friel, maternal grandparents; Hazel Slaney and Donald Kalil and an aunt June "Gidget" Sanchez.
Chelsea was born in Worcester. She was a former employee at Dunkin Donuts in Leicester, a job she absolutely loved. She enjoyed music, drawing, playing basketball, shopping and the beach. She loved spending time with her family and friends and always made everyone she was around feel special. She could light up a room with her smile and had a heart of gold. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be forever in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. in Greenville Baptist Church, 684 Pleasant St., Rochdale. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester.
Calling hours for Chelsea will be held on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester.
