Obituary

WORCESTER___Bronislawa “Betty” Wroblewski, 98, of Worcester died on Sunday October 21, 2018 in the Life Care Center of Auburn.
She leaves her godchild, Steven Jankowski and his wife Lila, her cousins and she also leaves friends who cared for her in her later years, Lee and Richard Pietrewicz and Deacon Jim and Carole Denning. Betty was predeceased by her brother Michael “Stanley” Wroblewski and by her father and mother Michael and Stanislawa (Kraszewska) Wroblewski. Betty was born and raised in Worcester. Betty cherished her loving relationship with her brother with whom she lived with for most of her life. Miss Wroblewski was a graduate of the former High School of Commerce and attended the Salter Secretarial School.

Miss Wroblewski was a clerk in the real estate dept., of the Thom McAn Shoe Co., and worked there for 35 years before retiring in 1982. Betty was a longtime member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and the parish St. Cecilia Choir. Betty appreciated the love and care she received from her longtime primary care physician Dr. Wendy Bergman and from the staff members at Christopher Heights over the 10 years that she resided there.

The funeral will be held on Thursday October 25, 2018 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. A calling hour will be held on Thursday October 25, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made the Our Lady of Czestochowa Memorial Fund, 34 Ward St., Worcester, Ma. 01610.
