WEBSTER – Denis P. Bolduc, 83, formerly of Millbury, died Monday, October 15, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.
He leaves 2 daughters, Denise M. Gaudette and her husband Norman with whom he lived, and Shirley Pepin of New York City; 4 grandchildren, Denis Gerardi and his wife Pam of Worcester, Nikki M. Mead and her husband Scott of Dudley, Celecia Taylor and her husband Brandon of Nashua, NH and Danielle Pepin of New York City; 4 great-grandchildren, Molly, Dylan, Ella and Camden; 2 brothers, Peter Bolduc and his wife Beverly, and John A. Bolduc and his wife Maureen, all of Oxford; his goddaughter, Suzanne Pelligrim of Webster; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Oaks in 1993, by his son Craig Robert Bolduc in 1997, and by a brother Albert “Chic” Bolduc in 1983.
He was born in Lynn and raised in Millbury, the oldest child of Albert and Claudia Marie (Desjardins) Bolduc. He obtained his GED and earned an Associates Degree at Becker Junior College. He had resided in Webster since 2000.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and formerly belonged to the VFW in Worcester and the Webster-Dudley American Legion Post #184.
Mr. Bolduc was an operating engineer for Local Union #4 in the Boston area for many years, retiring in 2000.
He enjoyed his woodworking shop, working with computer flight simulators and reading. He was a jack of all trades and master of several. Most of all, he enjoyed his family and especially his grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 9:15 AM Saturday, October 20, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Brigid Church, 59 Main Street, Millbury. Burial, with full military honors, will be in Saint Brigid Cemetery, Millbury. Visiting hours will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, October 19, in the funeral home.
