Zaharoula (Anninou) Duhani, 92, of Worcester, died Monday, October 8th in Beaumont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her husband of 30 years. Vasil Duhani died in 2008. She is survived by her step-son, Toma Duhani and his wife, Lena of Shrewsbury; three grandchildren, Alexander, Christina and Michael Duhani. Three brothers, Miltiades, Yanni and Kostas Anninos predeceased her.
She was born in Athens, Greece the daughter of Gerasimos and Hrisi (Theodoridou) Anninos. Mrs. Duhani was a long time member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
Her funeral is Friday, October 12th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 11:00 a.m. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, October 11th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
