WORCESTER: Jan A. Spinazzola, 58, died at home on Monday, October 1, 2018, after a long illness. He leaves wife of 24 years, Lesa A. (Barry) Spinazzola; a son, Kiernan L. Spinazzola; two daughters, Kelsey A. Spinazzola, Delaney P. Spinazzola; all of Worcester; his mother, Lorraine (Purcell) Spinazzola of Marlborough; brothers, Gerald Spinazzola of Tyngsboro, Robert Spinazzola of South Carolina, Philip Spinazzola of Marlborough;
several nieces and nephews. He was born in Boston, son of the late Andrew L. Spinazzola and was a graduate of Marlborough High School.
Jan worked as a test technician for Bose Corporation in Framingham for many years. He enjoyed snow skiing, walking his dog and eating plain donuts. He played football in high school and was an avid sports fan. He most enjoyed his annual family camping trip to Prospect Mountain in Granville, MA. He will be remembered as a devoted family man with a gentle soul and a wonderful sense of humor.
After cremation, MEMORIAL CALLING HOURS will be held from 1 to 3 P.M. on SATURDAY, OCT. 6 at the UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CHURCH of WORCESTER, 90 Holden St., followed by a SERVICE of REMEMBRANCE at 3 P.M.
