Thomas A. Cunningham, Jr., 80, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday September 19, 2018 in Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry. He was born in Webster, MA on April 27, 1938, a son of the late Thomas and Christine (Ryan) Cunningham. He had been a resident of Derry for the past 14 years, formerly living in Greenville, NH. Mr. Cunningham was a US Army veteran and had served in the Army Reserves for 30 years. He retired from the Felton Brush Co. in Londonderry, NH. He enjoyed NASCAR and the Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas A. Cunningham, III of Oxford, MA, and Thomas M. Cunningham of Nashua, NH; one daughter, Maureen Brule of Worcester, MA; and his longtime friend, Joanne Lombardo of Manchester, NH.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 25th at 10:30am in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Administration, Regional Office, 275 Chestnut St., Manchester, NH 03101. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
