Dartmouth – Cynthia Ann (Mello) Lewis, age 81, of Dartmouth passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel F. Lewis and daughter of Arthur and Irene (Arruda) Mello.
Cynthia was born in Dartmouth, MA and had previously worked in the office of a local clothing factory. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the New Creation Prayer Group.
She is survived by her son, Daniel W. Lewis of So. Dartmouth; sisters, Lorraine DaCosta of Dartmouth and Noreen Medeiros of New Bedford. She was also the sister of the late Arthur Mello, Jr. of Nantucket and the late Donald Mello of Fairhaven.
Cynthia’s visiting hours will be Monday morning September 24th between 8:00-9:30 AM immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church Dartmouth at 10:00A.M. Burial will follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
