WORCESTER___Ona (Grumbinaite) Pajeda, 99, of Worcester, died peacefully on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Her husband, Vladas Pajeda died in 1990. She is survived by her children. Drasius Pajeda and his wife Charlene of Gretna, NE and daughter Wanda Lescord; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She is predeceased by a son, Vladas Pajeda. Ona was born in Juzinta, Lithuania a daughter of Isadora and Theresa (Dulkys) Grumbinas.
Mrs. Pajeda immigrated to the US in 1949. She worked twenty-eight years at Killeen Manufacturing prior to retiring. She was member of the former St. Casimir Church, the Lithuanian National Guard and the Lithuanian Charitable Society and Maironis Park.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 11:30 AM in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
