Obituary

Shrewsbury/Hyannis: Mark Taylor, 49, of Shrewsbury and Cape Cod died peacefully on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the home of his sister surrounded by his loving family and friends after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Mark is survived by his sister Linda Fisher of Hyannis; Andy Taylor of Worcester; Valerie Fisher and Melissa Fisher of Worcester, Nicole Fisher of Hyannis, Monique Fisher of PA, and Jesse Hartz of Hyannis; and a close friend Frank Peters. Mark was also a fantastic uncle to his many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Laura and Elex Taylor and his two brothers Keith and John Taylor.
Mark worked as a software technician for MACOM and also worked as a limo driver. He enjoyed life to its fullest, spending time with his family and friends and watching sports, especially football. He was a Dallas Cowboys and Patriots fan. He loved taking trips to Foxwoods to play cards. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, infectious smile, and his ability to make other people laugh and find the humor in all situations. Last year he saved a woman from her burning car on the highway. He was selfless and always helping others in some way or another. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 1-3 pm in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home. For directions or to leave an online condolence message, please click link.
