FALL RIVER – John M. Souza, age 91, of Swansea, passed away on August 18, 2018 at St. Anne’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Ann (Rogers) Souza. Born in Somerset, he was the son of the late John and Mary (de Costa) Souza. Prior to retirement John worked for Santoro for many years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.
Along with his wife he is survived by son Jeffrey Souza (wife Diane) of Swansea, 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by many siblings.
Following cremation John’s funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Thursday, August 30th at 9:00 A.M. followed by a memorial mass that will take place at St. John of God at 10:00 A.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
