Russell K. Smith, Jr., 67, of Worcester died Saturday, August 4th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. He leaves his wife of 9 years, Patricia A. (Pusateri) Smith; a son, Russell K. Smith, III; a daughter, Tricia Smith and their mother, Paula Perry all of Auburn; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Lauren Smith; and two brothers, Jay Smith of Albany, NY and Harry Poirier of Spencer. He also leaves four stepchildren, Michael, Anthony, Kristina and Elizabeth.
He was born in Worcester the son of Russell K. Smith, Sr. and Lillian (Wiseman) Smith. Russell owned Hadwen Park Market for over 20 years. He was a dog lover, artist and wood carver. He enjoyed spending time kayaking and surfing.
A celebration of Russell’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 8th at 5:00 PM in the Worcester Lodge of Elks, 233 Mill Street. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
