Regina A. Cunic, 80, of Worcester died Friday, August 3, 2018, in Brookside Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center surrounded by her family. Regina is survived by her daughters Mary Estabrook and Susan Waller; a son, Martin Cunic; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was born in Romania a daughter of the late Martin and Catherine Scherle. She is predeceased by three sisters and two brother and her partner of eighteen years, Al Banks.
Regina came to the United States in 1956. She is a holocaust survivor. She was a member and employee of the Polish National Alliance for over twenty years. She was a bright light to her family and she will be extremely missed.
The funeral will be held on Thursday August 9, 2018 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
