Leonidas H. Panagiotidis, 90, of Pennsylvania where he has resided for the last five years and formerly of Worcester, died Thursday, August 2nd surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Elisavet (Vafiadis) Panagiotidis. He leaves his daughter, Stella Humber and her husband, George.
He was born in Istanbul, the son of Hristodoulos and Styliani (Brobonas) Panagiotidis. Leonidas immigrated to the United States in 1966 from Turkey. He was a former member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral. He owned Atlas Travel for over 30 years, where he worked as a travel agent and previously worked at Table Talk Pie Company. Leo enjoyed laughing, dancing and many friendships over the years.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, August 7th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM followed by a memorial service. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
