WORCESTER__Marianna T. (Kaczmarczyk) Grodzki, 71, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly on Thursday July 26, 2018 in St. Vincent Hospital.
Marianna leaves her children, Anna M. Grodzki of Worcester; Maggie Meagher and her husband Mike of Sutton and Paul Grodzki and his wife Heather of Holden; four grandchildren, Hazel, Owen, Gavin and Silas. She also leaves two sisters, Zosia Gortatowska of Poland and Regina Szydlik of Worcester and several nieces and nephews Marianna was born in Ostroleka, Poland a daughter of Jozef Kaczmarczyk and Teodora (Ropiak) Kaczmarczyk Sklut.
Marianna was a Personal Care Attendant several years for Winter Hill Rest Home. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. While in Poland she was an accomplished Educator, Principal and Scout Master. Involved in her community. She sacrificed for others and dedicated herself to her family especially to her grandchildren who were the joy of her life. She was a loving Babi to Si, Hazel, Owen and Gavin. She loved cooking, gardening’ especially her roses and dancing. But most of all she loved spending time with her family.
The funeral will be held on Monday July 30, 2018 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home on Monday July 30, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM.
