Roberta A. Buxton, 73 of Manchester, NH died Saturday July 21, 2018 in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester. Roberta was born in N. Reading, MA on August 30, 1944, a daughter of the late Steven and Helen (Smith) McCarty. She had resided in Manchester for the past eight years, formerly living in Londonderry and Derry, NH. Roberta retired from Parkland Medical Center in Derry where she was employed for more than 25 years. More than anything, Roberta loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her six children, Richard Buxton and his wife Barbara of Manchester, William Buxton and his wife Lisa of Derry, Linda Monahan and her husband Kevin of Manchester, Robert Buxton and his wife Michelle of Chester, Jayson Buxton and his wife Tammy of Manchester, and Barbara Jackitis of Londonderry, 20 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several step-brothers and step-sisters, nieces and nephews.
At Roberta’s request, memorial services will be held privately. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family.
