New Bedford – Tomasa Torres-Osorio, age 78, passed away on July 9, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in Loiza, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Luis Torres and Antonia Osorio.
Tomasa is survived by her 2 children, Sonia J. Forty and Awilda Forty; her grandchildren, Jurissa, Jovanny, Carlos M., Francisco, Carlos J., Jean Carlos, Yailka, Joshua, Joachim, Kiara and Keyla; several great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her late son, Carlos M. Forty and several late brothers and sisters.
Her visiting hours will be held on Sunday afternoon at Perry Funeral Home from 2:00-5:00 P.M. Her funeral service will be held on Monday morning in the funeral home, beginning at 9:30 A.M. with a service to begin at 10:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
