Worcester__ Danuta Z. (Muszynska) Rzepka, 84 of Worcester and Warsaw, Poland died on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Her husband, Roman Rzepka died in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Elzbieta Szambelan and her husband Marian of Worcester; son Tomasz Rzepka and his wife Dorota, of Warsaw, Poland; four grandchildren, Mark Jankowski, Kasia Stankus and her husband Jess Stankus, Maciek Rzepka and Piotr Rzepka; great grandson, John Roman Stankus. She was predeceased by two sisters, Helena Dyminska and Wanda Burza. Born in Drewnica Poland, she was a daughter of Waclaw and Bronislawa (Sosnowska) Muszynski.
Mrs. Rzepka retired from her work in food manufacturing several years ago. Although she enjoyed being outdoors and traveling around the world, she also had pleasure sewing, reading and cooking. Danuta was a wonderful mother, grandmother and in law, whose joy came from caring for her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 a.m., in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Poland. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
