Theresa has peacefully returned home to her Father in heaven to be reunited with her husband, mother, father, brother and special friends.
SPENCER – Theresa M. (Bibeau) Aucoin, 89, of Spencer, died peacefully on Saturday, June 16 at her home. Her husband of 65 years, Ronald E. Aucoin died in 2014. She leaves her son, Paul R. Aucoin of Spencer, her daughter Donna M. Lemerise and her husband Mark of Spencer, a sister, Cecile Ethier and her husband Leonard of Southbridge, and two grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother the late George Bibeau. Born in Southbridge, she was the daughter of Rudolph and Mary (Desaulniers) Bibeau. Theresa graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Southbridge. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Parish in Spencer before its’ closing. She was active in the parish as a member of the Women’s Guild. Theresa worked with her husband many years helping in the print shop taking invitation orders and doing the bookkeeping. She loved to cook, bake, read, crochet, make crafts, paint, sew, quilt, decorate and gardening. Daily prayer was always a part of her day, while looking out the window up toward heaven. Later in life she enjoyed word puzzles and watching birds fly to the feeder. To the many people who helped care for Theresa, the family is truly grateful. We thank God that our Mom lived a long life and we could see her daily. There are no calling hours. Private burial on June 22, 2018.
